RoviSys, a global provider of information management solutions, manufacturing automation solutions, control systems integration, building automation, and enterprise and industrial networks announced today the continued expansion of operations in Michigan, with a new office located in Kalamazoo. Since 2005, RoviSys & RoviSys Building Technologies have supported customers across the United States with regional offices. The Kalamazoo office represents a lasting commitment to Michigan’s business community, providing dedicated space for fifteen existing engineers, managers and support staff, and ample space for growth.

A strong pipeline of new projects for 2022 and beyond is in place for RoviSys, based on a foundation of successful project delivery performance during 2020 and 2021. In order to enable continued growth and delivery of proven automation and information solutions, RoviSys announces leadership and management promotions within the Life Sciences division. Each of these individuals have proven themselves as leaders, tackling complex engineering challenges, and delivering results that customers depend on.
Matt Knott has been promoted to Vice President, Life Sciences. In this role, he will be responsible for the overall business growth in the Life Sciences industry including market strategy and geographic expansion initiatives. Matt joined RoviSys as an engineer in 2006 and has consistently provided leadership to the organization in markets including Glass and Building Technologies. Since 2015, his primary focus has been Life Sciences.
Mike Barwacz has been promoted to Regional Director, Life Sciences. In this role, Mike will focus on continued growth of Life Sciences business driven out of the RoviSys Aurora, Ohio office. Mike joined RoviSys as an engineer in 2003, was promoted to Group Manager in 2015 and has been instrumental to growth in the Life Sciences market while providing leadership across our organization.
Mark Csernyik promoted to Group Manager. Mark will be responsible for business development and account management in the southwest Michigan region. Mark, an Ohio University graduate, joined RoviSys as an engineer in 1996 and has been a key contributor to the development of business and client relationships in the Life Sciences market.
Emily Niemi promoted to Group Manager. Emily will be responsible for team leadership and client relations in the southwest Michigan region. Emily joined RoviSys as a software developer in 2018 after graduating from Kent State University. She has supported projects in markets including Oil & Gas, Power & Energy, Glass, Building Technologies, and Water Resources. She has been a significant contributor to RoviSys culture through her efforts in the activities committee, mentoring program, and team building initiatives.
